The Great National Group are delighted to announce that Dermot Kelly has been formally appointed to the board of Great National Hotels and Resorts Group.

David Byrne, Chief Executive Officer, The Great National Group said of the appointment, “Dermot who is a graduate of GMIT and a hugely respected Hotel Operator of over 20 years, has been appointed as Group Commercial Director, where he will oversee our hotel management division and take his seat as a director of the Group in advising on all areas of our business.”

David went on to say that Dermot's expertise, vast experience, exceptional knowledge of the industry, all aspects of hotel ownership and management will be a great addition to the group.

“The leadership shown by Dermot in heading up our task force at Great National so successfully during the pandemic, alongside his role as Chairman of the Shannon Branch of the Irish Hotels Federation, in tirelessly helping colleagues during that time, was just extraordinary and we look forward to his great expertise in supporting the companies very strong growth plans over the coming years” continued David Byrne.
