IHF Cork Branch hosts Carnevale themed Annual Tourism Dinner 2022
400 attended the colourful and vibrant black-tie dinner at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Cork
 Fri 18th November 2022

Members of the Cork Branch of the IHF gathered to celebrate their traditional pre-Christmas Tourism Dinner, which this year took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa in Little Island on Thursday 17th November.

This year’s dinner was themed ‘Carnevale’, and was the first such dinner in 3 years, and recognised the efforts of the hotel & guesthouse community in the Cork region, offering members the opportunity to reconnect and celebrate with peers & suppliers across the sector.

400 guests were in attendance at the black-tie event, and the evening included a posthumous recognition award to Ted Dunne, a prominent DJ and founder of Ted Dunne Entertainment, a Munster based entertainment agency which supports, and provides services to, the hospitality sector.

The evening also raised funds for two Cork based charities, Lisheens House and Cork Counselling Services, with attendees generously donating to their causes via a charity raffle.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Cork Branch of the IHF Joe Kennedy stated: “We are delighted to have had such a turnout to our Tourism Dinner which enables us to recognise members and employees across the hotel & guesthouse sector in Cork, many of whom have had trying times over the past number of years. It’s great to see everyone enjoying themselves and we thank Elis and all our sponsors, suppliers, the organising committee, members and guests for their support into making the evening a huge success”.
