Cavan’s Slieve Russell Hotel has been recognised with a 'Great Place to Work' award in recognition of their dedication to positive employee experiences. On Friday 9th December, Cathal Divilly, CEO of Great Place To Work visited the Slieve Russell Hotel to present the Slieve Russell team with this prestigious award.

“It’s terrific to receive this award,” said CEO, Cathal Divilly from Great Place to Work who visited Ballyconnell to present the award. “When we look at the survey results from everyone who participated in the survey, there's a great sense of comraderie among the whole team here, there’s a great culture within the hotel and there’s great trust among everybody.”

”Employees were required to complete an anonymous detailed Trust Survey, noting their experience in their roles. Some of the feedback received from employees about their personal experience in the workplace noted the team environment, friendliness of the team, feeling recognised, great team ethic, great perks and incentives, colleagues are great to work with, a great sense of community and opportunities for career development at the hotel. The advancement of our workplace culture has been an area of huge focus over the past 10 years together with commitment and loyalty from our Management team.”
