Trigon Hotels has announced the appointment of Eoghan Murphy as General Manager of the Cork International Hotel. Eoghan has extensive experience in the hospitality industry in Ireland and the UK.
The Cork native graduated from the Shannon College of Hotel Management and spent several years working in management roles in London in Le Meridien Waldorf, Kingsway Hall Hotel and Apex City of London Hotel. Eoghan returned to Ireland in 2008 working at the Croke Park Hotel and in Armagh and Belfast.
Eoghan was appointed Deputy General Manager of Cork International Hotel in October 2019. He takes over the General Manager role from Carmel Lonergan who was recently appointed Director of Group Operations with Trigon Hotels.
