Last weekend IHF Dublin Branch hosted its very first Sports Day at SportsCo Leisure Centre, Dublin 4. Over 85 enthusiastic entrants took part, representing the Academy Plaza, Aloft Dublin City, Clayton Cardiff Lane, Conrad Hilton, Maldron Parnell, and Merrion Hotel.

With a range of exhilarating events throughout the day, it was a day filled with camaraderie, laughter, and sportsmanship. Congratulations to the three winning teams on the day:

• Gold - Congratulations to Aloft Dublin City for clinching the top spot!
• Silver - Kudos to Conrad Hilton for their outstanding performance!
• Bronze - Well done to Academy Plaza for securing third place!

The following awards were also given for individual excellence:

• Sports Player of the Day - Devan from Maldron Hotel Parnell Square showcased exceptional sportsmanship.
• Expert Bed Maker Award - Juan from Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane demonstrated his skills and dedication.
• Football Champions - The Academy Plaza Hotel Dublin emerged as the champs, raising the football trophy high!

Following the exciting sports activities, the teams gathered at Clayton Cardiff Lane for a delightful BBQ and refreshing beverages, where the team building and social networking amongst IHF Dublin Branch member hotel’s teams continued.
