Cashel Palace Hotel is delighted to share the success of its inaugural charity affair, the 'Race Day Ready' Fashion Showcase, an exciting collaboration in association with the esteemed Council of Irish Fashion Designers. This enchanting event commenced with a Champagne Reception on Sunday, February 25th 2024, within the timeless elegance of the 18th Century Palladian Manor House at Cashel Palace.

Director of Sales at Cashel Palace, Karen Fleming, warmly welcomed everyone and shared insights into Cashel Palace Hotel's journey since its opening two years ago, highlighting the hotel's dedication to excellence and community involvement.

This was followed by a sumptuous Traditional Afternoon Tea, presented in the grandeur of The Ballroom, where guests savoured an array of culinary delights while engaging with designers, milliners and accessory makers who unveiled their masterpieces and shared the captivating narratives behind their creations.

Ably compered by Eddie Shanahan from the Council of Irish Fashion Designers, the distinguished Race Day Ready panel, including such luminaries as Caroline Duffy, Heidi Higgins, Sharon Hoey, Aoife Kirwan, and Rosy Temple, regaled attendees with tales of artistic inspiration and proffered invaluable styling insights. Throughout the afternoon, guests were afforded ample opportunities to immerse themselves in the world of fashion, forging personal connections with the artisans behind the designs.

Most importantly, this extraordinary gathering achieved its altruistic objectives, with all proceeds flowing graciously to the Le Cairde Day Care Centre in Clonmel, in partnership with The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, supporting those affected by dementia on their journey toward empowerment and independence.
