Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane has been announced as the winner of the ESG Leadership Award for a Large Business at the Dublin Docklands Business Forum Awards 2024. This recognition celebrates the hotel's commitment to sustainability, social responsibility and governance excellence. Spearheading a range of ESG initiatives, including an impressive 25% reduction in energy consumption since 2021, the implementation of water-saving technologies and achieving significant waste reduction, management at the hotel and the wider team have made significant progress in reducing the hotel's carbon footring and minimize its environmental impact while enhancing overall guest experiences.
The hotel's strong focus on social responsibility is equally to the fore - raising €10,000 for local charities over the past year, fostering an inclusive workplace with employees from over twenty nationalities and prioritising staff well-being through development and wellness programmes. These efforts are guided through the hotel's dedicated ESG Committee, ensuring ethical and transparent practices across all areas of its operation.
Winning this award reflects the dedication of the team and reinforces our commitment to leading the hospitality industry in creating a positive impact for its wider community and the planet.
