Glasgow, situated on the River Clyde, is Scotland’s largest city by population and home to 1.8 million people in the wider metropolitan area. Famous for its vibrant nightlife, impressive architecture, intriguing museums and superb shopping centres, Glasgow makes for a great city break destination. Beyond the city centre, Glasgow is the gateway to some of Scotland’s most scenic regions including the Clyde Valley; Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park and Ayrshire & Arran. The new service to Glasgow will operate on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
Aer Lingus Regional will operate the Cork to Glasgow route using an ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft. The ATR 72-600 aircraft is significantly more environmentally friendly than regional jets and other turboprops, emitting 40% less CO2.
Additional services to and from Bristol come in response to growing demand from passengers and underscores Aer Lingus Regional’s commitment to providing more flexibility and convenience, with a second daily service on Friday and Sunday, along with a new Saturday service.
