Cyril Brennan, Senior Conference & Banqueting Bartender at Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort has been announced as the 23/24 Irish Hotels Federation Wicklow Branch ‘Employee of the Year’.
The announcement was made at an awards lunch in Glenview Hotel & Leisure Club, where guests gathered to celebrate and recognise nominees from hotels and guesthouses across Wicklow who have made an outstanding contribution to their workplace.
Congratulating Cyril on the award, IHF Wicklow Branch Chair, Gerard O’Brien said the judges highlighted his dedication, experience, and unwavering commitment to service when selecting him as the winner.
Cyril joined the team at Tulfarris a little over 10 years ago, however he has been working within the wider hospitality industry for over 50 years, equipping him with a vast wealth of knowledge and expertise. Cyril’s colleagues say that he is a beloved team member and an exceptional hospitality professional - referencing his passion, dedication and inate ability to make guests smile.
IHF Wicklow Branch extends its gratitude to the expert judging panel comprised of Eileen Cullen (Director of Kildare/Wicklow ETB) and Linda Folan (General Manager, Maldron Hotel Newlands Cross), who had the difficult job of selecting a winner from the nominees.
The members of the IHF Wicklow Branch now wish Cyril the very best of luck as he goes on to represent them at the upcoming National IHF Employee of the Year Awards which will be held during the IHF's Annual Conference in February 2024.
