Riu Plaza The Gresham Hotel are delighted to announce the promotion of Jaime Izuzquiza to the role of Deputy General Manager. Jamie’s career at the renowned hotel began in 2019 as Senior Food & Beverage Supervisor.

Focussed and ambitious, he soon progressed to the role of Duty Manager and through his hard work, commitment and training Jaime has recently been promoted to Deputy General Manager of the hotel.

Over a period of 12 months, Jaime managed an ambitious refurbishment project across all guest bedrooms, overseeing contractors and suppliers from every area of the construction industry.

A true hospitality professional Jaime now supports the General Manager in the day-to-day to manage one of the city's largest hotels while leading an experienced team of managers.

The team at Riu Plaza The Gresham Hotel are very proud of Jaime's achievements to date and look forward to seeing what the future has in store for him with Riu.
