The Brehon Hotel & Spa marked its 20th birthday with a grand celebration on the Brehon Lawn. The event brought together family, friends and many previous guests who have cherished their stays at The Brehon Hotel & Spa over the past two decades. The event was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect and celebrate the memories and milestones that have shaped the hotel's rich history.
The highlight of the celebration was a mindFULL chat with Dermot Whelan, renowned for his expertise in mindfulness and well-being. Dermot's engaging session offered valuable insights and practical tips for leading a more mindful life, captivating the audience with his wisdom and humour.
The festivities continued with DJ Donal spinning great tunes that had the children dancing and enjoying themselves throughout the day. The music provided a lively backdrop for the celebration, ensuring that the younger guests were thoroughly entertained. Later in the afternoon, there was a captivating showcase from Kinsale Mead owner Kate, who enthralled guests with insights into the rich history of mead and its connection to the ancient Brehon Laws.
Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, Polka 4 took to the stage with their vigorous arrangements, mixing local polkas and slides with jigs, reels and songs.
