Cork Hotel Team Members Graduate from Leadership Programmes
Trigon Hotels and Cork College of FET host ceremony to recognise graduates

Team members from Trigon Hotels have graduated from a programme designed to improve and develop supervisory and leadership skills. The Aspire Leadership and Management Programme and Trainee Management Development Programme is run by the Cork College of Further Education and Training (FET) - Bishopstown Campus - under the Skills to Advance initiative for Trigon Hotels.

This is the second group of ASPIRE leaders to graduate with the programme equipping participants with the tools needed to excel in the hospitality industry. The initiative ensures that employees are well-equipped to progress in their current roles or adapt to the changing job market.

Aaron Mansworth, Managing Director of Trigon Hotels, said: “I’m very proud of everyone who completed the programme. The graduates have worked extremely hard to accomplish their exceptional results. We are always keen to help our team develop and enhance their skills. The initiative has proven to be very successful and we look forward to supporting our team even further in the future.

Trigon Hotels recently held their graduation ceremony in the Cork ETB. The graduates have earned accreditation from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), an internationally recognized qualification.

Senior Leaders Eoghan Murphy and Kathleen Linehan achieved a Diploma in Leadership and Management, while Marta Marcinkowska, Alzbeta Belkova and Alex Pettit graduated from the Complete Leader Programme, designed for the senior leadership of Trigon Hotels.

The Emerging Leaders programme is a 21-week course for existing supervisors and managers. Graduates are Sophie Curtin, Ana Salas Linares, Eanna O’Brien and Margaret Hickey.

Christian Rojas and Alex Buckley completed the 16-week Navigate Programme aimed at team members who wish to move into a supervisory or managerial role, while Leah O’Driscoll and Michael Murphy graduated from Trigon’s Trainee Management Development Programme.

Strategic Director of HR at Trigon Hotels, Kathleen Linehan, said: “I am delighted to celebrate our team who worked very diligently to achieve such wonderful results.The team is very important to everyone at Trigon Hotels who continue to strive to enhance the skillset of the team. I am very proud of how everyone applied themselves during the programme - it wasn't an easy task.

The Aspire Leadership and Management Programme is funded by the national Skills to Advance initiative, which aims to provide upskilling and reskilling opportunities to employees in evolving job sectors.
