Trim Castle Hotel in Co Meath is pleased to announce the opening of its new all-day dining destination, BoAnn Café & Bistro. The opening marks a welcome addition to the four-star hotel’s current dining portfolio, including The Bailey Brasserie, Jules Restaurant and The Rooftop Bar (open seasonally).
Named after the legendary goddess of the River Boyne, the 58-seater restaurant, which also features an outdoor terrace, replaces the hotel’s Barista Café. Millimetre Design handled the interior architecture and design, creating a relaxed yet stylish space with a focus on plush seating and soft textures.
Menus, created by Trim Castle Hotel’s Head Chef Daniel Putanu, reflect the field-to-fork ethos of the property, with a focus on produce from surrounding areas in Meath and Louth. Everything served is handmade in the hotel’s kitchen, from artisanal breads to jams, to home hay-smoked salmon and decadent desserts and pastries, created by a team of four inhouse pastry chefs.
Open daily for breakfast and lunch, diners can expect a wide range of sandwiches, salads, quiches, hot foods and brunch-style dishes along with pastries, smoothies and specialty teas and coffees. Dinner is served Thursday – Saturday evening and features quality local produce with an international twist. BoAnn also serves an extensive wine list and cocktail menu, including local specialities like the Slane & Ginger, made with Slane Irish Whiskey, ginger ale and fresh lime.
